My name is Jessica Koller and I live in a suburb of Dallas, TX. I am married to Danny, a newspaper editor and all around lovely human. I have two sweet boys, Gabriel, 4, and Zachary, who is 18 mos.
Last summer Gabriel was diagnosed with Autism which explained a lot and also revealed to us the greatest challenge of parenting thus far.
The background of our lives is development. It's about having an appreciation for how life unfolds. Who we are in that, who others are in that, and listening to what life has to say gives a life of connection and meaning. Circumstances will be up, down and indifferent - but it's all grist for the mill. What we've put together will fall apart, it will all come back together newly and having that be OK provides a life of great peace.
My intention is to share our family's travels on that road...
that this too can be fulfilling and joyous, no matter what...
